The Morgantown PRT/GRT has been certified for passenger service for over 30 years.

The Ultra PRT has received certification at its demonstration facility in Cardiff, Wales and its installation at London Heathrow Airport is expected to be in operation in early 2009.

The Vectus PRT system in Upsalla, Sweden has passed certification tests by the Swedish Rail Authority.

New PRT systems in California, if they are not yet certified elsewhere, will require certification by the California Public Utilities Commission in order to carry passengers in the State of California.
